Will there be entertainment at the festival?

Yes!  Live music is scheduled as follows:

4-6 pm:  Barefoot Wade

7-8:30 pm:  Ocracoke Rockers

8:30-9:45 pm:  Raygun Ruby

What happens in case of inclement weather?

The event will go on unless there is a hurricane!  Refer to website for updates as the date draws near.

How do I purchase tickets? And what does it include?

Tickets can be purchased at the event on the day of the festival.

The $10 entry fee gives you tickets to purchase:

  • A $10 fried fish plate with hushpuppies, beans and slaw, water/lemonade
  • A $10 steamed shrimp plate with hushpuppies, beans and slaw, water/lemonade
  • A $10 steamed oyster plate with hushpuppies, beans and slaw, water/lemonade
  • A $10 hamburger or 2 hot dog plate with hushpuppies, beans and slaw, water/lemonade
  • Additional tickets can also be purchased to buy beer, wine and commemorative T-Shirts

Fish will be either Spanish maceral or Bluefish – depending on what is caught fresh that day!    We will have local oysters and local shrimp!!

Is the festival handicap accessible?

Yes

Where do I park?

Free parking will be available at the National Park Service boat launch parking area.

Handicap parking is available at the festival site.

Are dogs allowed at the festival?

Dogs are allowed at the outside portion of the festival.  

They are not allowed inside the Berkely Manor where the auction items will be on display.
